Empower Your Child's Success with Executive Functioning Skills Mastery

Hi! I'm Ms. Susan and I believe in a holistic approach to education. Beyond mastering mathematical concepts and excelling in other contents, I recognize the crucial role executive functioning skills play in a student's overall academic journey. With a foundation built on a 4.0 GPA from The University of Texas and extensive experience as an elementary and middle school teacher, science facilitator, and mentor, I bring a wealth of knowledge to every session. Our Executive Functioning Skills sessions, uniquely crafted with the renowned SMARTS curriculum, are designed to enhance your child's cognitive abilities, fostering skills like time management, organization, and task initiation. I leverage my expertise in accommodating children with autism spectrum disorder, as showcased in my graduate thesis, ensuring that every student, regardless of learning style, receives personalized attention and support. Moreover, my individualized approach extends beyond the academic realm. I understand that success is not solely measured by grades but also by a student's ability to navigate challenges, set goals, and develop resilience. With Math Wizdom, your child gains a mentor who is not just focused on subject matter but is committed to nurturing essential life skills for a well-rounded education.

Susan is and continues to amaze me and my son. He constantly reminds me, that if it wasn’t for her involvement- he wouldn’t be the student he is. She’s simply the best.

Susan taught our daughter advanced middle school math concepts. Susan was very enthusiastic and responsive to adjust the lessons to match the topics, level, and pacing for our child. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into her tutoring role. We would definitely recommend her as a teacher!
