I have been teaching college mathematics and statistics since 1993. I've written a couple of math textbooks, and have consistently earned very high student evaluations in my classes (kind of surprising for a math teacher!). Students tell me I make math fun to learn, and that my explanations are very clear. My hobbies include tennis, running, and surfing... please write me if you'd like to have some help with your math!

Hello! I've been teaching mathematics on campus and online since 1993, and have spent virtually all of my career in Virginia Beach. 

I graduated from Lehigh University (in Pennsylvania) with a Master's Degree in Mathematics, and completed all coursework needed for my Ph.D. in mathematics, as well. 

My student evaluations from my classes have been uniformly positive, and students tell me I'm very clear with my explanations and very approachable for help. I've also been named Most Popular Instructor several times, and have always loved my interactions with students.

I teach my classes the way I'd like classes to be if I were a student, and love to answer math questions!
