My name is Spyridoula. I earned a History and Archaeology Degree from the University of Athens, with a minor in Greek Literature. I started working as a Greek literature teacher in the high schools of Athens and Nafpaktos. I was also tutoring after class lessons in modern,ancient Greek and Latin. After five years of teaching experience, I also worked as an Archaeologist at Ministry of Culture in Western Greece. In 2009, I tutored corporate managers in the European Council in Greek as a Second Language in European program in Brussels- Belgium.
In 2010, I moved in New York where I collaborated as a Greek Teacher with the Greek American Schools: Saint Demetrios School, Saint Nicholas School, Plato School and the Cathedral School.
On October 2017, I opened the Greek language and art center that is located in Astoria ,Queens and in Manhattan.
My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to learn and love the Greek language and Culture.
I encourage my students to have confidence and challenge their selves in higher level and how to approach actively to speak and write as a native Greek. I support them to believe in their capabilities and to customize their needs.
I want to benefits my students to work as much as possible to learn and love the Greek language and culture via different approach and sources. I'm easy to reach and quick to respond.
