I'm a senior student at the University of Colorado - Boulder, and I'm a History major with an emphasis in American History. The boring part about me is that I have an "A" range GPA with exemplary test scores in reading, writing, and composition. However, the most helpful experience I've ever had in writing was simply by tutoring others, like you. I'm candid in my teaching style, and to best help you in writing endeavors the most important thing I can do is let you express yourself naturally. Formulaic rubrics such as "5 Paragraph Essays" are not the ticket to being a better writer. What's most important is a strong argument. I want to help you bring out that inner voice. I'm a massive dork when it comes to History, and have read a biography on every President of the United States. I love to share my historical fun facts with my friends and family, even though it often drives them crazy when they aren't as excited as me! I look forward to working with you!
