English (ESL) with Sonya Rhae T.

I have a BA Degree in English and have been teaching and tutoring for many years in English, Reading, and English as a Second language (ESL). I have also taught English for one year in South Korea and six years in the Middle East. I differentiated instruction and diverse learning methodologies across the elementary, middle, and high school levels and adult education. I consistently achieve stellar results due to my English background and superior knowledge of curriculum development, test administration, small group, and 1:1 tutoring. In addition, I believe that it is essential that students learn by having fun throughout the learning process. Engaging students in the lesson allows the student to build confidence, not lose focus, or become bored with the lesson. I Successfully develop and deliver innovative lessons, including assessing students' strengths and weaknesses to develop and implement other teaching strategies to achieve goals. Within this experience, I also proactively led small groups and individualized instruction based on differentiated learning needs.
