Simona is the best teacher for me at my level. I am visiting Italy and have a good command of the language Very pleased.

Simona started out as a good teacher but as time progressed she started showing up late for lessons by about 30 to 40 minutes late 2 weeks in a row. I realize she is in Italy with a 6 hour time difference and our lessons were at 6pm EST. She stated I was late one time and that was my first lesson because I was using the wrong browser and could not get connected. She would also make me watch videos from YouTube from professor Dave that she could have easily explained to me. The match in the powder barrel happened on October 5th, I sent her a text at 3pm stating I was canceling todays lesson at 6pm. She replied at 6:02, I am reading this now because my son was being “difficult” at bed time. If you had given me a little more notice I could have canceled but I have already made last week lesson today’s lesson.. I asked her if I would be charged for today’s lesson and she said yes because it was policy to give 24 hours notice of cancellation. That obviously does not apply on her end because on September 1st at 4:42 pm, I received at text from her stating Hello 👋 I have really bad cold can we cancel today’s lesson and resume next week? Needless today when she charged me for the lesson, I fired her.

I've had a great experience learning Italian with Simona. She is flexible with what we learn, and also with timing of lessons. If I have questions or dialogue I want to practice, she is very helpful with that, and if not, she has lessons and other resources ready for us to use. Sometimes I have to change my lesson time, and she responds within a day to reschedule. I would highly recommend her!
