Hello Students, Introducing myself - I am Dr. Shub Basu, your Math Teacher. I know you may have multiple choices to pick your favorite teacher. We all should be grateful to each educator. So please make your selection as you feel the most comfortable. Just to let you know a bit more about me. I was born in India and grew up there while completing my undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from one of the prestigious institutions in India. While I was a student myself, I used to teach Math and Science (Physics, Chemistry) to Middle School and High School students. It was a rewarding experience. I moved to the US around 20 years back and made this my home. I went to Graduate school and earned my PhD degree in Computer Engineering. I have worked in the industry for 23 years in product design/product management and have started two companies as I continued to rode on the entrepreneurial journey. In parallel, I always found opportunities to teach students in Math and have earned recognitions as best educator, best teaching assistant etc. At other times, I am a coach and a judge in High School and College Tech contests. At the end, the most rewarding aspect is when I can make students like you confident about your Math knowledge and you feel great about your experience learning the subject.
