I am an American-Iranian who speaks both languages fluently and accent-free. Therefore, I will be able to teach students proper pronunciation while easily communicating with them in English. While I focus more on conversation, I also teach grammar and writing as well. 

I take on all ranges of students, from those who don't even know the alphabet to those looking to improve their conversation skills. 

I have been tutoring for over 4 years, including teaching English to Iranians (in Farsi) in Iran for 1.5 years. 

All lessons are customized to the student's needs and interests. I believe the best way to learn a language is through context; its more fun and more pertinent! Therefore, after establishing some basics, I use as much fun content (music, movies, comedy) as I can in my lessons. 

I am available for in-home lessons, or meetings at a cafe anywhere of your choice.

My name is Shervin and I am an American-Iranian. I grew up in NYC but have also lived in Iran for 6 years, so I am fully bilingual. I can speak, read, and write fluently in both English and Farsi with no accent. 

I have been teaching and tutoring for the past 4 years, including 1.5 years of teaching English in Iran. I have taught persons who only knew a few words, up until advanced levels. 

My lessons also include fun, interactive components, and along the way you will get to know some fun aspects of Persian culture, like movies, music and comedy!

I am available for in-house tutoring, as well as meeting in any location anywhere in the city.
