I am knowledgeable of argumentative, analysis/synthesis, and rhetoric essay formats including MLA/APA. I am also familiar with Western Canon curriculum and standards. I pride myself on my advanced communication skills and cognitive abilities. My greatest joy is making sure that student's understand the lesson and that they are able to apply the content in the real world. Learning should naturally flow easily and it should be fun.

    Hello! I hope that you're having a good day! My name is Ms. Douglas and I would love to become your teacher. I am knowledgeable in English, Science (Biology), Technology (Computer Applications), and French. However, my specific content area is in English Literature. I enjoy picking part books word by word and analyzing the story in order to synthesize an answer for essay prompts. Learning does not need to be hard. Learning should come natural and easily.
