Hi guys! My name is Shandra, I'm from West Texas, and I currently attend Yale University. I am so excited to tutor you guys! I am very friendly and outgoing and have a very flexible teaching style. I love building relationships with my students so that I can foster a comfortable and judgment-free learning environment. I am committed to helping my students reach their goals so that they can cultivate self-confidence in their educational endeavors.

I graduated high school in 2020 and was recently admitted to the Yale University Class of 2024. I was the valedictorian of my high school class of 510 students with a GPA of 102.408. I scored 1550 on my SAT and 34 on my ACT. I was a cheerleader all four years of high school and received many awards throughout my career. I was also recently awarded my International Baccalaureate diploma.

Although I do not have any formal teaching experience, I have been tutoring through various agencies since my freshman year of high school. I specialize in high school math up to AP Calculus AB, but I am well versed in high school English, AP Macroeconomics, and AP Microeconomics. I tutored for all four of these subjects through a club in my school called AP Ambassadors. I tutor for SAT math and have helped many of my peers improve their scores by at least 50 points. I was also a member of an organization called Peer Assisted Leadership (PALS) where I tutored children all over my school district, so I can also tutor elementary and middle school-aged children in all subjects.
