I am a native Japanese speaker, with over 22 years living in the United States. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University, and have since traveled across the country and met and taught Japanese to many people who were interested in learning from simple conversation to being able to read their favorite mangas! The most important thing about learning anything, language included, is to contextualize materials in ways that become personal, so that you can retain information more efficiently. I'm here to provide the necessary materials, and work with you personally not only so the information becomes easy to digest, but make the lessons fun! After all, you won't practice unless it is enjoyable! I'm here to understand where you want to take your learning, and guide you into managing expectation from what you can get from our lessons. There is no right or wrong way to start, as long as you keep at it and move forward. Let's get started!
