English (ESL) with Sarah F.

I have taught ESL for a total of 8 years including 4 years in Russia and then 4 years in the US to children mainly from Korea, China and Vietnam. Additionally, I taught a kindergarten class for 7 years and a First Grade class for 2 years. Teaching the children how to read was a huge element in those classes and my success rate was 100%. Parents were consistently impressed with the level of academics their children possessed at the end of each year. Teaching a child (or adult) how to read and to speak in the English language brings great joy to me as I know it opens up so many doors in their future they may not have otherwise had. Having a small part in that process is rewarding. My methods for children involve singing, games and visuals.
