I am a Research Scientist in Experimental Plasma and Fusion Physics. I received my PhD from Kyushu University, Japan. I have been working in the field of experimental fusion research for 20+ years. I have worked all cross the globe from India to Japan to Germany and finally to the US. I have more than 50 research papers in reputed journals and several recognition to my credit. My goal in teaching is to facilitate the assimilation of basic concepts and learning skills to motivate further learning and thinking. While teaching all my courses, what I felt that students learn best through practical examples. Now, not many students take physics. The reason behind it is on one hand physics is a subject which is apparently difficult to appreciate and on the other, there is a scarcity of good physics teachers. I teach high school physics and especially AP physics. I help students to design easy examples or experiments and collect data to analyze. Modeling of the basic concepts in simple experiments, data acquisition and data analysis give a near perfect understanding of the concepts.
