Mucho Gusto, I am Sandra, and I am a native speaker of both Spanish and English. I grew up in Mexico until I was ten years old. When my family and I moved to the United States, I was thrown into a world of uncertainty, because I had zero knowledge of the English language. Within a year I had reached full fluency in English. I understand the struggle and confusion of learning a new language, and I also understand how overwhelming it can feel when someone does not want to take their time and give you a chance to learn at your own pace. My philosophy is always one of support and patience. My main goal is to structure the lessons around the individual and give everyone the experience I wish I would have had when I was learning a new language. I prefer a relaxed learning environment because I think that the only way you can be confident and comfortable in conversation is by being confident and comfortable in class.
