I have been teaching ESL to children and adults for almost 20 years.  I can create lessons that fit anyone's needs.  I keep kids entertained while they learn, I make lessons for adults painless yet educational.  There hasn't been a problem that I have not seen!  I help raise confidence so my students can conquer the world of English!

Hi!  I am Samantha, but you can call me Sam!  I have had a wide range of experiences teaching students from a variety of countries and have been teaching business English, IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC preparation as well as basic conversation for some time.
 I absolutely love teaching and waking up each morning for work. I was born in Los Angeles but now I live in Northern California in the forest, by the ocean with my husband and dog Benjamin.

I have a BA and MA in English Education and am a licensed teacher in California.  I have been teaching for 19 years, 10 years in the classroom teaching ESL to young children and 9 years specializing in online English education.

Sam is a great teacher! I find her classes very useful, since I can practice any aspect of English like reading, writing, listening, speaking and even more. I've also had several extremely funny and interesting classes on slang, phrasal verbs and idioms. Sam can also help you to prepare for TOEFL or IELTS exam which is very important if you plan to live or study in an English speaking country. Above all, Sam is very friendly, intelligent, understanding and flexible. If you are a busy person, Sam is always trying to fit your schedule as much as possible. I'd definitely recommend her classes!
