Learn or improve your Spanish, native teacher with a masters in Spanish literature and linguistics

When learning another language, it's important to understand culture, products and practices that the natives display in their daily lives. As I teach Spanish to students learning a second language, I tend to put myself in their place, as I remember the struggles and difficulties I went through while learning English. Teaching is a passion and a love that comes naturally to teachers, students are drown to teachers that are genuine because of their assurance that their students will succeed. My teaching philosophy is that students need to know that I am there for them, doing what it takes to help them succeed in their present and future endeavors.

    About Rosemary T.

As a little girl I wanted to be a nurse or a teacher, I worked in the medical field over 20 years and then went back to school to become a teacher. I have always like teaching, when I worked at the hospital and co-worker didn't understand the material taught in a mandatory hospital training, I was always more than willing to reteach all the information. I always take organize notes and ask a lot of questions; I encourage my students to ask questions, I tell them that we all make mistakes, especially when we learn something new. When I start a new school year, I usually give my students an assessment, I want to know what they remember or know, this allows me to structure my lessons and implement the necessary strategies to help my students retained and improve the target language. I think back on the things that I needed to learn when I first came to the United States, I am always reminded that a second language comes easy to some, but others struggle, with this in mind, I let my students know, that I'm always available for them if they have any questions or if the lessons are difficult and frustrating to understand.
