Experienced ESL teacher of 5 years, specializing in the beginner/intermediate student! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Within the first few lessons, you'll start speaking simple sentences and as time goes on, you'll be able to talk like a pro! I have the following tools available for your lessons: recording equipment, worksheets, textbooks, and more. I love working with students of all experience levels and ages. I have lots of experience with little children as I also have worked 5 years in Early Childhood classrooms for 5 years including Montessori school experience of 3 years where during pandemic, I taught online classes.

Hi there. My name is Raquel, also known as Zuca in the Capoeira world. I am from Brazil. I have taught English as Second language for about 5 years. Since I moved to the United States in 2015, I have been helping friends with my native language. I have a big community of people from the Martial Art I teach that I help with Portuguese lessons. Recently in 2022 I started teaching online Portuguese classes to my students. And I completely fell in love with it. I offer interactive Portuguese classes as well as English as Second Language classes. I also teach Capoeira for all ages and Yoga for children and teens. I love helping people learn, come join me and become fluent in Portuguese and/or English. Or join me to get fit with Capoeira or for your child or teen find balance on mind and body inside the art of Yoga.
