Ages taught: Male: 16 and up; Female: 16 and up I am a native French speaker who was born and raised in Arras, North of France. Throughout my adolescence, I attended prestigious Christian private schools. At Lycée Baudimont high school, I studied marketing and was awarded the highest marketing score on how to successfully market a crepe restaurant. In 2010, I moved to Paris, France to study Art and Languages. Fascinated about American culture, but self-conscious about my English linguistic limitations, I enrolled at the English school "Wall Street English" from 2010 to 2013. This experience equipped me with the five language skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and cultural awareness. I learned effective techniques that makes learning a language motivating and entertaining for students. After graduating from Wall Street English with a Mastery 2 degree in Expert General and Business English, I applied to Santa Monica College (SMC) film production program in Santa Monica, California from 2016 to 2019. As a student, I worked as French Tutor for the Department of Modern Languages from 2017 to 2019. I helped students who needed extra support in comprehending linguistic grammatical key points and practicing oral conversations that I personally emphasized throughout my teaching methods. In my lessons, I love incorporating idioms, quotes and slang that relates to everyday life in France. In June 2019, I graduated magna cum laude from Santa Monica College. Shortly after, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. I am currently a full time French Tutor who mostly teaches high school students, college students, and adults who want to learn French. On my free time, I am very involved in the Atlanta French Community through some social events, which promotes the French language and culture. If I had to define my tutoring style, I would say that I like to incorporate cultural learning that focuses on French history, food, art, films/tv shows, music, and lifestyle. In my experience, this method cultivates a fun and effective learning environment for students to achieve their goals. In addition, I am an instructor who likes to understand each student's expectations and identify their appropriate language level to help them to meet those expectations and goals. My aim is to enhance each student's level to prepare him or her for a vacation to a francophone country or acing a test and/or a course.
