Hey there! My name is Nic and I absolutely love Japan and its culture. In 2014, I moved to Japan and lived in a rural town where I was quickly made to speak Japanese everyday. I studied Japanese daily and quickly made many great Japanese friends! We talked a lot about Japanese culture, anime, manga, and other daily life topics in Japan. Before I left Japan, I took the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and passed the N2 level, which means that I am of native-like fluency! I often help tutor and explain Japanese language concepts to those who are interested in learning the language in both a basic or a higher-level capacity. I try my best to explain difficult topics in easy-to-understand ways with both explanations and examples. A lot of those who I have helped in the past have told me that this was incredibly helpful as they can both grasp why certain words or grammar points are used and how to use them!
