English (ESL) with Nathan B.

Hey there! My name is Nathan and I have been teaching ESL for approximately four years. I also have experience with early childhood education and teaching cultural and social studies to adults and older students. I lived in Japan for two years and worked as an English teacher, and since then I have taught English to Chinese and Korean students online. I am a very experienced martial artist (Jiu Jitsu) and traveler, and I have studied or practiced other skills and hobbies such as music, theater, fencing, meditation, and yoga. My greatest strengths are the ability to think critically and analyze information, understand and communicate concepts, and listen to others empathetically while demonstrating self-awareness and self-expression. I love to focus on the subjects, topics, ideas, and skills that you are very interested in or that feel personally relevant for you. I also like to share a lot of my personal knowledge, expertise, insights, and tips regarding topics such as culture, psychology, self development or learning skills, travel, and budgeting.
