Creative Writing with Morgen L.

I am a lifelong lover of writing and the arts, with years of professional teaching/tutoring experience and a strong passion for helping others create magnificent works of art! I minored in creative writing at the University of Texas at Arlington, where I also served as secretary of the UTA Write Club. I have taken college-level courses in global literature, playwriting, screenwriting, script analysis, creative nonfiction (memoirs, essays and the like), and general creative writing (which included instruction in poetry and prose fiction). However, my interests extend far beyond these, as some of my primary writing interests include children's literature, SLAM/spoken word poetry, and rap. I am not only able, but pleased to assist you the development of any of these types of writing and more (e.g. song lyrics, speeches, stand-up comedy sets...you name it!). I look forward to making your writing dreams a reality! ***Please note: 30-minute sessions are for first-time students ONLY, and are intended to function as trial sessions. This is why they are priced much lower than 60-minute sessions. I believe that 60-minute sessions are necessary for students serious about honing their craft.
