Thinking Cap Tutoring Service

I have tutored K-12 students and adult learners in-person and virtually for the past 10 years. Trained as a professional educator, I use tried and tested teaching methods and tutoring approaches that take into account students' individual learning style and talents. In 2020, I was invited to co-teach in a homeschool program for gifted 8th grade students, grading writing projects and teaching literature class. For the past two years, I have served as an English teacher and have contributed to curriculum design and summer enrichment programs in an SAT Prep program.

Substitute teaching in a middle school class presented opportunities to expand my knowledge and skill sets-- specifically in creating digital lesson plans and moderating classes virtually.

The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) is dedicated to the improvement and expansion of the teaching and learning of all languages at all levels of instruction. ACTFL is an individual membership organization of more than 12,000 language educators, students, and administrators.
