My students appreciate that I can explain corporate finance, stocks, and options in easy to understand language as well as share my own real-world experiences to make things easier to understand. I do love a sense of humor as I use cartoons in every class I teach, from beginner, freshman, all the way to senior college.

    About Mitch V.

Three words to describe me as a teacher: Fun, Engaging, Authoritative. I have 15 years experience working in public, private, and non profit accounting and finance positions. I have over 25 years experience managing a portfolio of equities and currently trade options as well. I have 18 years teaching experience at the middle, high, and college level, including earning a certification as a professional educator in the state of Florida. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business with a major in Accounting, my Master's in Business, and did post-graduate work in Finance. I love international travel, cooking, competitive bowling, scuba diving, playing on my Xbox and Switch, and fanboy interests like conventions, games, and cartoons. I find it important to relate, have a rapport, and find common interests with all my students as I find it useful for making abstract concepts come to life and difficult concepts easier to digest. I teach free workshops on investing, and personal finance, have taught a variety of classes like business writing, quality management, logistics, business statistics, intro to business, principles of management, and multiple variations of college finance courses. I look forward to tutoring you!
