    About Michelle P.

Hi! My name is Michelle and I am a 5th-year PhD candidate in linguistics at the University of Florida. I have experience teaching Intro to Linguistics, grading for Psycholinguistics courses, and teaching Academic Spoken English for graduate students and Reading and Writing for students at the English Language Institute. I have also privately tutored students in beginning level Mandarin and accent reduction. I have great enthusiasm for language learning and assessing how speakers pick up a language, and have experience learning languages myself. I also was a chemistry major for two years as an undergraduate, so have taken courses in calculus, chemistry, and physics.
