I have a degree in teaching and was an award winning high school instructor in the Chicago Public Schools for 7 years, have also taught college undergraduates including current instruction at the University of Chicago, so in addition to knowing my subject matter I am an expert teacher. Thus, I know how to adapt to the unique learning modalities of my students, and have a treasure trove of myriad teaching techniques from which to draw upon in order to achieve as many "aha" moments as possible. This is a rare competency among tutors, who are often experts in their subject matter only. I have two years of Hebrew training in rabbinic school and coursework in Biblical Hebrew at the University of Chicago Divinity School, as well as ongoing yeshiva studies.
