I am very experienced - I have a strong background tutoring mathematics for elementary, middle, and high school students. I also tutored first year calculus students.

I am a strong tutor because I have a fundamental understanding of mathematical concepts which I apply to my day to day life as a student-scientist. This allows me to teach a concept from multiple angles, which helps a student learn the content. I also understand where most students struggle and thus understand which concepts will require more focus and depth.

I am friendly and personable, and have a passion for math and science. I enjoy working with children (I frequently tutor my younger cousins) and being a mentor and positive role model. I also enjoy working with adults and helping them break down barriers in their lives.
