Hey there! My name is Martin Miller. I am a professional interpreter and translator of Mandarin Chinese, Spanish. I received a Bachelor's degree in Asian languages and literatures, focusing on Chinese. During my undergraduate studies, I lived in China for a full year, studying for a semester at Nanjing University and interning for a semester at Pearl Studio, also known as DreamWorks Shanghai. I took intensive Chinese classes and received a 3 on the ACTFL exam, equating my spoken Mandarin to that of an educated native speaker. I studied Spanish and French both independently and in school. I worked as an interpreter of medical Spanish and French for two years. I have also worked independently as a document translator for both languages, translating legal and medical documents. In 2020, I worked at a market research company, translating Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and French daily. I translated both professional and colloquial Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and French covering a wide variety of subject matter, thus requiring a vast vocabulary.
