I met Marilyn for more than 20 years ago when she instructed a beginner sign language class. She has a passion to help and bring understanding to others. Her compassion for the deaf community is genuine as she strives to educate diversities of each other's culture.

To be clear, I am a colleague of Marilyn's, not a student. I have known her for a long time and know that she has a great knowledge base in American Sign Language, excellent signing skills and extensive experience working with deaf children, deaf adults and with hearing children who have a first language other than English. Her expertise and experience makes her a great choice for a teacher.
