I started sewing on buttons when I was 6 years old.  When I was in high school I was making all my own clothes including prom dress.  
I have worked at a very high end shop doing alterations on expensive clothes; been an interior decorator making window treatments and other household items; sewn suits, coats and flowing chiffon gowns.

I am a professional teacher and owner or The Needle Arts Center in Louisville, Ky.  All of my classes are held at my studio.  I started sewing when I was 6 years old and have been quilting for the past 25 years.  I can teach all skill levels including designing quilts, and all age levels from 8 years old to adult.

Sewing is a lifelong passion and I can make almost anything.  As a teacher, I have been praised for my patience and knowledge.  You can learn to quilt!
