Ciao! My name is Maria, I was born and raised in Torino, Italy and I have been teaching Italian since the early 2000s. I moved to California in 1997 and I have been living in Orange County with my family ever since. I have a degree in Political Science from the University of Torino, Italy and a Master in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine. I taught Italian both to children (from "mommy & me" classes to middle school students) and to adults at all levels (from beginner to advance). Also, during my whole career I have been teaching to single students, small groups and large classes, both in-person and online. Thus, thanks to a very diverse teaching experience, I learned the importance and the necessity to customize all my lessons to the specific needs and interests of my students.
