About Margaretann H.
I received my bachelors degree in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly Pomona and my Montessori Elementary Training from the Milwaukee Institute. I have taught students ages 6-12 in all aspects of academics for 19 years. Although I have retired from full time teaching, I have always enjoyed helping kids discover their strengths and accept their challenges with enthusiasm. My goal has always been to provide the skills and tools that support a lifelong learning process.

I taught lower elementary, ages 6-9, for three years before moving on to upper elementary, ages 9-12 for the next eleven. I was in charge of all aspects of academics as well as social/emotional development. My goal for students after their three years with me was for them to know how to use their strengths to their advantage in overcoming any challenges they faced. I worked to help them develop a positive self image and become life-long responsible learners.
