English Literature with Lori C.

I am a young, enthusiastic, yet traditional English teacher, My philosophy is - learning can take place anywhere, inside or outside of the classroom. I have actually experienced the most student success when my lessons involve: games, activities and an element of excitement. My students recall the content I teach because I make it and relevant to their life experience. I have worked with children of all ages and backgrounds. I have lessons to teach sentence structure, parts of speech, phonics, grammar and punctuation at the elementary level. I also teach basic and advanced composition, vocabulary development, etymology, and essay writing. High school and college level students may need assistance in thesis development, and literary forms, and historical periods which I offer as well. I do have current - FBI clearance and child abuse clearance- which a can upload/sent to you for verification. I last worked at the North Penn Valley Boys and girls club as a lead teacher.
