- Levels Taught:
- High School, College
In calculus one we are introduced to a variety of tools, such as the limit, continuity, differentiation, integration, and the fundamental theorem of calculus.
In calculus two we build on our tools of differential and integral calculus and introduce new tools for analyzing series and sequences, such as power, Taylor and Maclaurin series.
In calculus three we apply previous calculus concepts to multiple variables and dimensions, creating multivariable/vector calculus.
- Teaches students:

- Teaching since:
I majored in Philosophy/Computer Science and minored in Mathematics in college. I tutor math, physics, general engineering, writing and test prep for high school, college and adult students. I also work with mentally disabled, ADD, autistic and bipolar students. During college, I worked as a network engineer, chef and tutor.
I teach in a logical and straightforward manner and try to cultivate my students' personal understanding of the material. I accomplish this by giving them plenty of questions and examples, which guide, test and clarify their understanding of concepts. If their fundamentals are sound, then students can reason through and apply concepts more effectively than otherwise. It also builds their self-confidence. I work best with students who are also interested in learning and usually leave them with some food-for-thought between our sessions.
Each school year I offer tutoring in a selection of advanced courses.
ADVANCED COURSES 2018-19: Modern Physics (Physics III) and Electrodynamics (Undergraduate).
