Provide translation and interpretation support for cultural events. Offer English expertise for Brazilian diplomats and Brazilians at the Embassy. Compile daily reports with relevant information to science and technology. Coordinate and support events.

NTT DATA for the Administrative Offices of the U.S. Courts

Planned and coordinated different sized events, ranging from 40 people to 600 people across the country, utilizing Web-Ex and other remote meeting technologies. Trained over 50 clients in M.S. Project in group and one on one training sessions. I prepared all training materials and presented them to the group. Trained over 10 clients in PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and Word on a one on one, as needed basis.

Brazilian Ecosystems Study Abroad Program

Supported the Program Director by assisting with program logistics, organizing and communicating travel and flight details, transportation and lodging, which required communication with the Brazilian points of contacts in Portuguese. Taught a basic Portuguese course for the students, and translated Portuguese on a daily basis, acting as a guide for the students. Worked one on one with students to improve their Portuguese. Simultaneously translated lectures for a week during the program. Served as a guide to the American students on the program and acted as a liaison between the Program Director and the students.

Foreign Born Information Resource Network (FIRN)

I volunteered with FIRN to offer free after school ESL classes for middle school students at Owen Brown Middle School.
