English (ESL) with Lisa L.

I have a BA in English from Franklin and Marshall College, and a Master's degree in ESL from Hunter College. I have been teaching ESL for over 25 years, both in the public schools and in private lessons. Working with students ages 5 through 60 suits me just fine, although most of my experience has been with elementary school students. I teach all areas of language acquisition--listening, speaking, reading and writing. I love to see the pleasure on my student's faces as they gain skills they didn't have previously. English can be a challenging language, but I try to make it a fun and worthwhile experience to learn. I like to play language games at all levels--a lot of learning goes on in play. I have every reason to think that your language skills will improve quickly if we work together--come on, let's give it a try!
