Explore your creative genius with machine Embroidery!
Embroidery is my favorite subject to teach. It offers the student endless creative possibilities. There are amazing machines that enable you to stretch your imagination beyond just sewing to decorating and personalized branding. You will learn how to hoop and set your machine for the best embroidery experience.
I have taught skills on various embroidery machine brands including: Brother PE800; SE series, INNOV-IS series; single & multi-needle commercial machines, Husqvarna Viking, Janome, Babylock, Singer and so many more. Let me help you bring your machine to life.

About Lily Q.

I am a Fashion Designer/Instructor and former Social Worker, who's very passionate about teaching Fashion and Embroidery. I'm always excited about helping students build skills gradually, from a complete Beginner, through Advanced levels.
Also, I am one of the few teachers in the country who teaches the exclusive "Freehand" Drafting and sewing (i.e. sewing without commercial pattern). I also teach sewing with pattern.
As a social worker, I taught participants in a homeless shelter, how to make various items geared towards independent living. For 11years now, I've been teaching in the tri-state area where patrons sign up for group sewing lessons as well as private lessons.
I teach Garment cutting and construction, Pattern drafting, Alterations, Home décor items, and various sewing projects. With patience, I guide students to create a Scrapbook. This is a Binder full of samples, that capture important sewing skills for future reference.
I am happy to help you navigate your sewing aspirations and goals when you register. Thanks.
