Lili Hernández Drafting Designer Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts MFA Cultural Management I have a wide experience teaching elementary, intermediate and advance Spanish in culture, art, literature, music, and cook, in academic level and as independent instructor. As well. I strongly believe in dissolving stereotypes about Latino immigrants, Afro-American and diverse types of races through education about art, culture, language, and traditions. I strike to encourage students to learn about the Latin American and Spanish culture and Fine Art in an authentic way in order to open their minds to accept different viewpoints. I have a deep appreciation and professional knowledge for art and the contemporary art market. I work as an art curator, gallerist and art educator. During the first period of my teaching experience as an instructor at the University level, I managed the Latin and Hispanic cultural program by programming the Latin Art Exhibit and the Latin Hispanic Film Festival, and I hope to continue this in the future to help to preserve the precious authentic experience. I incorporate art and music into my classes as a way to give a well-rounded introduction into Spanish, not only in a linguistic but also in a cultural sense.
