What to say about myself? Well I grew up in the Bay Area in California and was very fortunate to have had a French American education throughout my life both at home and in the classroom. I graduated from SF State University with honors in French (litterature, art, linguistics, history) and moved to France to begin my teaching ESL.
I have had experience in education as a career since 2011, however, I have been surrounded by the education field my whole life because a good portion of my family is in this field. Teaching ESL in France has helped me see this line of work more as a way to help people with more than just communication skills. These are skills they will need for many things down the road and it's a pleasure to see student development. I also tutored French to high school and middle school students before I came to France.
I enjoy the great outdoors when I'm not in the classroom because brain food can also be found in it's greatest form in nature!
