Teaching since:

Hi, there! My name is Laura and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since1994 (classroom teacher since 1990) and have loved helping my students succeed as writers, English speakers, filmmakers, actors, martial artists, and yoga teachers.
I went to Hofstra University and earned a dual degree in Drama and English in 1986, earned my 3rd degree black belt in jujutsu in 2009, my Master's in Education in 1995 from USC, my RYT-200 in Yoga in 2013. I'm a patient teacher with a sense of humor and my teaching style is both detail and goal oriented; I like to challenge my students while making sure they have fun in the process. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
