I bring extensive education and experience to accent modification, with a Master's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Abilene Christian University. My history in theatre makes my lessons a little more engaging than the average teacher. Working with people from different cultures and backgrounds is a specialty of mine. I was the only American therapist working in an Asian skilled nursing facility. Having the chance to speak Mandarin in swallowing therapy was such a wonderful learning experience for me and for my patients.
