Hi there! My name is Kelly and I've been teaching for 7+ years throughout the U.S., Latin America, and Asia. Outside of private tutoring, I am the lead ESL teacher at an inner-city elementary school in Indianapolis. I absolutely love working to discover the interests, skills, and goals of my students, while co-designing curriula to meet their individual needs.
Throughout my reviews, you will see how much my students enjoy our interactive, skill-focused, fun classes! As a teacher and tutor, my students have consistently thrived from developing: increased levels of self-confidence, self-awareness, intrinsic motivation, and stronger foundations in language and academic content areas.
I have an M.Ed. in Bilingual Bicultural Education and elementary/middle school teaching licenses. Additionally, I hold a Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and bachelors degrees in International Studies and Social Work.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have, and I look forward to working with you!
