English (ESL) with Katherine B.

Hey! My name is Katie and I teach English, but I am also a registered dietitian nutritionist. That's right, my specialty is studying food and how people eat :). I am a language learner myself (I am learning Spanish) so I get it - learning a second language is frustrating! But the MORE we practice by TALKING, the faster you will learn. My teaching style is to get YOU talking and practicing... if you listen to me the whole time you will not see quick progress. I work well with beginners as well as very advanced students. I love to work on pronunciation, grammar, writing, and even just having conversations about life. Right now, I am traveling around. I recently lived in Nicaragua for 7 months, and now I am off to Colombia! Where should I go to next? Let's talk about it! I also play the ukulele, I cook, I like to sing, and I love to workout (especially outside). What do you like to do?
