Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Credentialed high school Spanish teacher in CA with a masters in education, so I am very familiar with how students learn and adapting to learning styles. I like to build vocab, then use conversation to more organically learn words!

I'm happy to adapt lessons to themes or specific grammar exercise for my students if they wish! Some native speakers may speak well and know a lot of vocab, but they struggle explaining the WHY certain grammar features are the way they are! Just like in English, you need both conversational AND formal knowledge of a language.

Great first session. Justin asked a lot of questions to make sure he had an understanding about what I was expecting from our sessions. Very knowledgable and can quickly grasp where I was on the learning spectrum. Looking forward to more!

I teach science to elementary school children. I worked with Justin on becoming conversationally fluent in spanish so that I could communicate with my student's parents. Justin was incredibly patient and had a lot of good tips for how to practice spanish on my own. He is also a grammar stickler and taught me better spanish grammar than I ever learned in school. Thanks Justin!
