I have a bachelor of arts in Spanish with a minor in Latin American studies. I've studied abroad in México and Argentina (three months each) and know well the language variances of each. I would love to share both language and teach cross cultural competence to students of all ages. I am a trained, credentialed teacher in California and have experience differentiating lessons and activities for a wide spectrum of learners. I've taught high school classes of Spanish as well as Spanish for spanish-speakers, so my lessons can be used for students who grew up speaking spanish at home, but lack a formal education in the language. I also have a masters in multilingual education from Cal State San Marcos+ Read More

Justin is great. So happy that we found him. Thank you TakeLessons
My daughter really enjoyed the lesson and learnt a lot
Very helpful. Good at explaining things. Works within the curriculum that is most beneficial for me. Highly recommend
Great first session. Justin asked a lot of questions to make sure he had an understanding about what I was expecting from our sessions. Very knowledgable and can quickly grasp where I was on the learning spectrum. Looking forward to more!
I teach science to elementary school children. I worked with Justin on becoming conversationally fluent in spanish so that I could communicate with my student's parents. Justin was incredibly patient and had a lot of good tips for how to practice spanish on my own. He is also a grammar stickler and taught me better spanish grammar than I ever learned in school. Thanks Justin!+ Read More
