Spanish with Julio S.

I am a first-year high school Spanish teacher who wants to teach Spanish to as many people as possible! I am the son of immigrants from Mexico and my experiences as part of the first-generation of my family being born in the United States made me learn to take pride in my culture and background, and that is what makes me want to teach YOU Spanish. I can work with someone who speaks zero Spanish at all, to native-speakers, like myself. I have spoken Spanish all of my life. I did not begin to pick up on English up until I was about 3-4 years-old and I was able to keep a well-developed spoken Spanish because my mother did not speak more than five words in English when I was growing up and my father only spoke it when he needed to. I was constantly explaining to my mother what was said on the labels of certain medications, foods, etc. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and also one in Education, and I hope to make the learning experience a great one for all of my students.
