I am a professional environmental engineer and scientist and I have a graduate degree in Engineering and Math. I am originally from India and I came here for graduate school and then got a job and became a US citizen. I use Math daily at work where I focus on environmental issues including protecting the air, water and land, and of course, human health. I believe that anybody can improve their Math skills and it is an important life skill as well. We see application of Math everyday in the news everything from the effectiveness of the Covid vaccine or other drugs, understanding finance, investing and the economy, etc. I teach Math part time and generally prefer high school or middle school students (e.g. 8th grade). My style of teaching is to simplify concepts and language to enhance understanding. I teach online with Zoom typically but can also use other platforms. I look forward to meeting you and help you become more confident with Math and do better in your classes.
