English (ESL) with Joy R.

I am the most unique teacher you'll find. I married a widower with 12 children and together we had 5 more. This made me MOM to 17. So I've got a great deal of experience with children of all age levels and with all types of learning curves. I also taught Reading and Language to primary grades 1, 2 and 3, prior to my marriage. My husband passed away in March of 2015 and in 2017 I began my ESL career with a company called DADA ABC. I loved working with them and tutoring Chinese children while sharing my love of the English language. Sadly, DaDa is no longer able to employ English teachers who live outside of the mainland of China. This made me quite sad as I wasn't even able to say goodbye to many of my students. But I am ready to begin fresh! I have a good attendance record and punctuality is of utmost importance to me. I truly enjoy meeting new people, sharing cultural differences and creating a fun learning experience. Expanding on lesson content is one of my strong points.
