English with Jeremy B.

I have been teaching in informal and formal settings since college. I have worked mostly as an ESL teacher in places like Cincinnati, Madrid, and Barranquilla Colombia over the last 5 years, but I have also taught Spanish lessons for English-speakers. Upon finishing my Peace Corps service I tested at the highest level of spoken Spanish(superior) and in my government job I have obtained certification to translate our official documents with the requisite level as well. My teaching style is very active and engaged, teaching the same subject in a variety of contexts to learn a topic completely. I also do my best to direct the lessons to a person's life and surroundings so they can best relate and use the language skills learned to describe what their life is like.
