Mandarin Chinese with Jenny T.

I was born in north China, so my Mandarin is perfect with no strange accent. I moved to Guangzhou to start my university education at the age of 17, so I can speak fluent Cantonese too. I have taught Chinese language as a part time job for more than 20 years. I am good at teaching not only students with zero experience, but also students who want to improve their present levels. Among all of my students, two US consular officers from culture department are the best. I taught them for more than 3 years and we became life-long friends since then. I had worked in big multinational companies for more than 10 years. In the last 6 years, I volunteered in my daughter's school as a PTO leader. Students love me because of my personality. I love reading, from novels to history books, from science fictions to religious classics. I am a fan of traditional Chinese culture, especially when I was living in Guangzhou, a city with more traditional cultural relics than others. I love cats, music, dancing and yoga. Learning Chinese can be interesting and easy if you are interested in the culture, or some Chinese figures.
