I have worked as a Special Education Teacher for the past 15+ years. I have spent 13 of those years in elementary school and 2 years in middle school with a contained SLD classroom environment. I have taught math, reading, written language and social/behavioral skills at the elementary level, and math, reading, written language, science, social science and social/behavioral skills at the middle school level. I love to work with students who are focused on improving their academic levels, and those who wish to broaden their outlook on life's progress as a whole, and becoming one who uplifts and inspires others to do the same. I love to use interactive lessons, videos and learning games to be creative, maintain student interest and enhance learning. I currently enjoy spending time with my wonderful family, especially my 3 grandchildren, who keep Nana very entertained, but also proud of their dedication to learning beyond the stars.
